Thank you, and my new toy

Thank you all for your kind words. It was very hard to lose two pets at once like that. But so many told me I would know when it was time, and it was finally time.

On the brighter side, look at my new toy:

I did it - I traded in the People Mover and got myself a cute little PT Cruiser! I absolutely love it! It still sits relatively high so getting in and out is as easy as the van was. There's a lot of leg room for everyone. And it's so CUTE!

I researched it heavily beforehand. I was a little surprised to find out the primary demographic was 51 year olds! And here I was feeling younger for driving it.

Darling Daughter actually WANTS to go places with me. At least for now!

And isn't it just so darn CUTE!

Too cute. That's great DD wants to join you, enjoy it while it lasts. Soon she'll want to be driving the new wheels and leave you at home. LOL!

Love it!!! I rented one last year when I went to my parents, and it was a super fun car to drive! I just felt like a kid.. so it IS a young car!

My aunt and uncle just rented one when they came here for Mem Day weekend. My kids renamed it the PeePee cruiser because one of them had to go while they were "cruisin"!

It is so cute and it must have that new car smell! I'm a little jealous!

oh, it IS cute! congrats on getting rid of the minivan :)

my mom loves her pt cruiser, she's had it for about 4 or 5 years now. and she'd be pleased about the demographics info...she just turned 60, so that would probably make her feel younger! the only gripe her & my dad have about the car is they've found the seats are uncomfy for long drives, but everyone's backs are different.

enjoy your new ride :) too bad gas is so pricey, i'm sure you're ready for a road trip!
