The Music Director at work has been vacationing in France for the past month. He called the office today to go over a few things with me.
When I got off the phone, I said, "Malcolm just called from France, and it was as clear as if he was next door!"
How old does that make me? That in my mind, transatlantic calls are fuzzy connections? And for that matter, does anyone even use the term "Transatlantic Call" anymore?
Good grief. Next thing you know, I'll be needing an ear trumpet.

Ha! That does sound exactly what my mom says every time she talks with us on the phone!
Yeah, I think that term has left the building.
That's funny. I thought you were going to say, he was actually calling from next door.
